What You’ll Be Doing

As our first engineer, you’ll be shaping the digital backbone of a company aiming to become Europe’s insulation champion. This isn’t just another full stack role. The three biggest challenges in the first year:

1. Build Our Core Platform
Lay the foundation for a robust, scalable web platform by integrating no-code/low-code tools where they make sense, and custom code where they don’t.

2. Create an Offline-First App:
Collaborate with Product and our founders to deliver a mobile-first experience that’s fast, intuitive, and functional in rural, low-connectivity areas.

3. Optimize Processes with AI Agents:
Use generative AI to streamline unpredictable workflows—for instance handling emergencies or qualifying buildings based on construction plans.

Here’s what you’ll dive into:

• Build what matters - Work with our business automation team, who rapidly prototype using no-code/low-code tools. You’ll take the validated ideas and translate them into clean, maintainable code that scales

• Shape the customer experience across the insulation journey – From first website visit to project handoff, your work powers our digital funnel and turns the website into a true growth engine

• Develop tools that get used daily - Whether it’s a field technician logging insulation data offline or an ops manager overseeing dozens of projects, you’ll create tools that directly support their work

• Code smarter with AI - Use environments like Cursor, Lovable, and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and build intelligent agents that reduce manual effort

• Collaborate across the entire business – Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Ops, and Finance to turn ideas into features—with real impact and immediate feedback

• Help choose our tech stack – Almost no legacy systems to untangle. You’ll help define how we build from day one

• Work transparently – We share performance and business KPIs openly. You’ll always understand the why behind every feature you build
